Deck Face Lift Mahtomedi MN
Mahtomedi MN Deck Face Lift
If you’re like most homeowners, your home is very important to you. It’s where you raise your family, entertain friends, and celebrate life’s big and small accomplishments and so much more. It’s where you call home! Plus, there’s just something about the enjoyment and pride we get from having a beautiful home we can be proud of. It’s one of life’s small pleasures. It also represents your single largest investment, so it only makes sense that you do everything you can to keep it in tip top shape. Not only to keep it looking good, but to maintain its value!
Give Your Deck a Facelift
Your deck should be an inviting place to relax and socialize — like an extra room of your home. If you are not spending as much time on your deck as you used to, it may be time to give your deck a face lift.
With 85 percent of all decks in the country constructed 10 or more years ago, many homeowners are searching for an economical way to help their old decks look new again – and remain comfortable, splinter free and attractive, without extensive maintenance.
Homeowners with older wood decks may notice that their decks are falling into disrepair and becoming more of an eyesore than a place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Rather than tackling a complete rebuild, it’s possible to retain the sub-structure of a current deck and simply replace the existing planks and railings at a fraction of the time and cost. For a deck that continues to look “like new” year after year, there’s Azek decking.
Don’t Replace It… Re-Face It!
We still have a few more weeks of nice weather. You might as well put that nice weather to good use while it’s still here. Relaxing on your deck… not repairing it!
Has your deck seen better days? Is it starting to show signs of aging and deterioration that could possibly lead to a safety hazard in the future? As long as the old deck frame is in good condition, it can be reused in the new deck construction. Plus a deck face lift will save you a boat load of money! Just contact a Minnesota Deck Builder today to get your project underway! Feel free to look at some past projects they have done for other customers. It will give you a good idea of the quality of their work.
We just finished another great deck face lift, which is basically when you keep the same frame and remove the existing decking and railing and install new decking and railing to give the deck a new look. For this deck we did new Azek Reserve Railing customized with a decking board on top of the railing to tie the decking and railing together.
We also did Azek decking in Morado and we also did custom wraps on the support posts under the deck to give them a more finished look. This helps make the support posts look more like a part of the architecture and design of the porch instead of just a support post that is an eyesore. Please note we removed the Pergola off the deck because the homeowner did not want it any longer.
